no more pregame

The NBA is undergoing a slight overhaul and implementing several new rules this upcoming season. The biggest one being that players will now be penalized for flopping because it was becoming a big problem in the league. A more under the radar rule is that players will have approximately 90 seconds after introductions to hit the court for the opening tip. It’s safe to say Oklahoma City’s mega-star Kevin Durant doesnt like the new pregame rule.Every team and player has their own pregame routines, and I’m not exactly sure why the NBA has put this rule in place. Fans and players alike enjoy pregame rituals that are a part of the game. LeBron’s powder toss, KG’s head-butt of the padded area of the hoop, and Dwyane Wade’s pull-ups on the rim are all player rituals we’ve grown accustomed to. I don’t think Kevin Durant will be alone in terms of dislike for the new rule.
